Here's the last week or so of the trip... rented a ridiculous mustang gt for a 1-way trip to SFO (it was that or a Chevy Cruze). Drove that hulk down to visit Anna's dad and Carol for an amazing lamb dinner, tormented their pets and then took Anna to San Francisco for the weekend, where we met up with Janet and Evan to start celebrating some birthdays. Here's us after after a heck of a good night.
After that we flew to Boston where my friend Kevin picked us up (thank you again Kevin) and took us over to Becky's for a little Za (awesome arlington pizza place). Holy sh*&% it's cold back east. Stayed with Kevin for the night, and rotisserie'd this chicken. That's unbridled joy on all their faces...
Next we popped on over to Reji and Hilary's to meet their new baby - very charming - and then headed on up to see dad and Kay. I'd arranged a "mystery ride" for Anna that totally fooled her... we kindof like architecture so pops, Anna and I went to Manchester to see the Zimmerman's home, a Frank Lloyd Wright house. She thought we were just going to the Currier Museum of Art ;) The day was cold and crap, but the house was awesome. It was great to see it with my dad - he's a big Frank fan.
After that we were off to see Chris and Amy... but on the way we stopped at the world's best pizza joint... Antonios. Nothing fixes you up like a slice of chicken-bacon-ranch.
This morning I accidentally grabbed a kid's shark-head towel for my shower. It's going to be the new look so I just went with it.
On the way out of town we stopped at Atkins farm in South Hadley for some travelling staples... tasty soups, their own fresh cider donuts, apples, and peanut butter (salted of course), and my favorite BBC Drayman's Porter - sniffle, no BBC out in CA. Lame.
We also made a quick stop at Mt. Holyoke College so Anna could check out the old haunt and I could look for that damned squirrel that bit me some years back. Here's Anna at Mt. Holyoke's awesome cactus greenhouse.
We've ticked off 430 miles or so and now we're in Mystic CT for the night. Goodnight!

So glad you are doing this! Miss you!
